🐯 130 YEARS ON — THE TIGERS ARE STILL ROARING

What a way to continue celebrating 130 years of the Boulder City Football Club.Last night's 2026 Mitchell Medal Awards delivered another remarkable chapter in a remarkable anniversary year for the black and gold.

There were individual honours. There was recognition across the grades. There was a new GFL Life Member. And then came an award that belongs to every Tiger...

Think about that for a moment. A football club established in 1896.

Still here.

Still producing footballers.

Still producing volunteers and club people.

Still competing.

And 130 years later — Champion Club.

The individual honours made the night even more special.

And there was another particularly proud moment for Boulder...Steve Wojtowicz — GFL Life Membership.

From 1896 to 2026, thousands of people have helped carry this football club forward.

Players and coaches.

Presidents and committees.

Trainers and timekeepers.Volunteers, supporters and families.

Generations of Tigers who have handed the black and gold from one generation to the next.Last night belonged to the current generation.

And what a statement they made.
