SOME AWARDS ARE ABOUT MORE THAN WHAT HAPPENS ON THE FIELD.

And perhaps that makes this a fitting one to finish with.

Brenton Marr — Boulder City Football Club Person of the Year.

In 2026, Brenton wore plenty of hats.

Reserves Coach
Committee Man
Senior Volunteer of the Year

But even that list doesn't really explain an award like this.

It's about the hours nobody counts - The jobs that simply need doing - Being there when you're needed - Giving your time to the players, the team and the club — not because there's an award waiting at the end of it, but because that's what club people do.

Football clubs survive on volunteers - Great football clubs are built around them.

In Boulder City's 130th year, the Tigers celebrated premierships, medals, milestones and some wonderful individual performances.

But behind every one of those moments are people prepared to give something back.
