The 1940 Jumper

By 1940, Boulder City had refined one of the most striking jumpers in its history—a gold guernsey proudly carrying the bold black V. It was clean, powerful and unmistakably Boulder.

More importantly, it was worn during one of the club's great eras.

The Tigers captured back-to-back Goldfields Football League Premierships in 1940 and 1941, with this iconic design becoming forever linked to one of the finest teams the club has produced.

Simple in appearance, yet rich in history, the black V represented pride, strength and determination—qualities that defined Boulder football throughout the war years.

Some jumpers come and go - Others become symbols of success. This was one of them.
