1896 - Everything has a beginning
For Boulder City Football Club, that beginning came in 1896, when a group of footballers wearing red and blue hoopstook the field and unknowingly started one of Western Australia's great football stories. "There was no Tiger emblem. No black and gold. No premiership history. Just a football club built on determination, mateship and community." Although today's supporters know the club simply as the Tigers, our first colours remind us that every great tradition has evolved over time. From these red and blue guernseys would come new colours, new identities and eventually the fierce Tiger that generations have proudly represented. This jumper represents far more than a uniform. It represents courage to begin. It marks the first chapter in a story that now spans 130 years, countless players, volunteers, families and supporters who have each left their mark on Boulder football. Every jumper that followed owes its place to this one. The journey started here.
