Logan Hughes
2019
Mitchell Medal

This winner takes us to one of the modern stars of the Boulder Tigers. An explosive midfielder with elite standards and a relentless work rate, Logan Hughes made an immediate impact in Black and Gold. Originally from Harvey–Brunswick–Leschenault in the South West Football League and with WAFL experience at Swan Districts, Logan arrived in the Goldfields and quickly established himself as one of the competition’s premier players.
His influence extended beyond performance.
Appointed Vice Captain in 2019 and later elevated to Co-Captain, Logan became a key figure in the Tigers’ leadership group during an important era for the club. His season of excellence was recognised with the game’s highest individual honour . Goldfields League Fairest & Best — 2019
Football journeys evolve and following several outstanding seasons at Boulder, Logan moved to another chapter of his career in 2024. But this honour belongs to his Tiger chapter. For one season, Logan Hughes stood above the competition.
