Every football club has players who become legends. For the Boulder Tigers, Dick Jones was one of them.

The mercurial footballer claimed the 1950 Fletcher Medal, recognising him as the Goldfields Football League's Best and Fairest after a brilliant season in the Black and Gold.

Blessed with exceptional skill, football instinct and the ability to change a game in an instant, Dick was one of the outstanding footballers of his era and a driving force behind the Tigers' success during the late 1940s and early 1950s.
